Angala joined DFPC when it was launched 29 years ago as an imports assistant in the treasury department. Over the years he became international department manager, non-consumable merchandising department manager and finance division manager. He has a Master in Business Administration from San Beda Graduate School.

As it marks its 30th anniversary next year, DFPC will look to expand its product and brand line-up, says Angala, who plans to inspect and review the corporation’s 17 outlets.

DFPC will also open a Terminal 3 landside outlet at Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) next year. Covering 11,000 sqm, it is being designed to offer a world-class shopping experience showcasing top brands in such sectors as fashion, perfume and cosmetics, liquor and tobacco, and confectionery.

DFPC is an agency of the Department of Tourism.
