Excello Restaurant Management debuts US brand
Actor Marvin Agustin’s Excello Restaurant Management Group has opened an “all-you-can-eat” Korean barbecue restaurant at SM by the Bay in the Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City.
It is the first location outside the US for California’s Gen Korean BBQ House, known for its premium meat and seafood. Founder David Kim and senior corporate manager David Ghim traveled to Metro Manila for the opening.
Replicating the design of its US locations, the restaurant has a black-lit ambiance and offers more than 20 meat options paired with side dishes including kimchi.
Agustin’s business partners in Excello are restaurateur Raymund Magdaluyo and Leina Bolinas of Annam Noodle Bar. The group last year brought in Wolfgang’s Steakhouse from New York City, and also from there plans to introduce Sarabeth’s, known for its preserves, pastries, baked goods and all-day dining.
