King Sisig seeking franchisees for expansion
Fast-casual restaurant chain King Sisig is seeking to expand in urban and provincial markets this year through franchising.
A franchise package ranges from PHP4.5 million (US$90,000) to P5.5 million, including the PHP500,000 franchise fee. On top of brand use, this also covers turn-key branch construction/documentation costs, rental deposit and advance rent (for leased locations), equipment, furniture and other fixtures, initial merchandise, and packaging and other contingencies.
Franchisees will undergo intensive store training. The package also includes personnel training/help, supply sourcing (purchase/delivery), marketing and promotional support, consulting and product introduction.
Partners are assured of a payback period of less than three years, says King Sisig Royal Foods assistant VP Fernando Iso.
King Sisig offers variants of sisig meals and merienda. It has 33 stores, 27 of which are company-owned, mainly in malls.
