Luxify introduces app for buyers on the move
Asian online luxury marketplace Luxify has introduced an iPhone app.
It enables users to browse and buy more than 60,000 luxury products from 2000-plus brands and dealers internationally.
As well as offering exclusive market information, the app gives direct access to luxury, antique and exclusive items from such categories as arts, collectibles, antiques, watches, handbags, experiences, vehicles and real estate.
Collectively, Luxify’s product inventory is worth more than US$160 billion and includes items as diverse as a 1982 British Royal Air Force Harrier jump jet or the new Mercedes-AMG Project One plug-in hybrid supercar.
Through the app, users can message dealers and negotiate prices directly before completing the purchase.
“Online luxury sales are growing at a much faster pace than offline luxury sales in the region,” says Luxify co-founder Florian Martigny. “The increasing income and spending power among young Asians is driving the growth of online luxury shopping.”
Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam particularly have shown significant hikes in online luxury purchases, he says.
