Mitsubishi and Ayala opening Japan area atop Glorietta
Mitsubishi and conglomerate Ayala group will open a Japan-themed commercial area at a shopping complex in the heart of Manila.
To be developed on the roof of Ayala’s Glorietta mall in Makati, the complex will have as it anchor tenant Hallohallo, a Philippines company established by a Japanese national, CEO Yasunari Okada.
Covering 2500 sqm, the area will include restaurants, food stalls and a Cool Japan Shop, which will sell anime-related products and other items. There will also be a stage area to host music events, including concerts.
