SM Supermalls quits terminal project
SM Supermalls has decided to withdraw its planned terminal project for Pere Boulevard to address its larger SM Center Dagupan.
During a public hearing, the company has requested an 18-month exemption from a city ordinance that places limits on terminal construction in Dagupan. SM Supermalls says it is still perusing the SM Center Dagupan project, otherwise known as the old Pantranco terminal.
A company official visited city secretary Ryan Ravanzo to tell him personally about its withdrawal from the planned terminal project in Pere Boulevard.
Dagupan officials are said to not be in favour of the terminal but happy with the move to proceed with SM Center Dagupan, reports Pabaon News.
