Tourism link for Robinsons North Tacloban
Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) has opened Robinsons North Tacloban, its second full-service mall in Leyte and its 12th development project in the province.
RLC says the second centre is ideal for travelers, being opposite the entrance to the Abucay tourism terminal, which is open 24/7. The terminal caters for tourists visiting the nearby Sohoton cave complex, Marabut beach resorts, and white-water rafting and zipline adventures in Babatngon. It also handles tourists visiting Bohol and Cebu, as well as the cultural and historic sites of nearby Palo, and those of Guiuan and Limasawa in Eastern Samar.
Robinsons North Tacloban has been designed with a cubist concept, featuring bold whorls of Pintados-inspired curlicues and swatches of multi-colored metal hangings. Layered ceilings offer varying thematic cove lighting in different sections of the mall. There are even murals in the restrooms, as well as spacious public areas.
Over three levels, the mall offers clothes, appliances and groceries with such outlets as Robinsons Appliances, Robinsons Department Store, Robinsons Handyman and Robinsons Supermarket. There is also a Robinsons Bank.
Other retailers include Bench, Cell City, Daiso Japan, Emerald Star Jewellery, i-Center, La Sedia, Ministop, National Bookstore, Oppo, PaperWorld, Paws Pet Shop, Penshoppe, Picture City, RRJ, Samsung, South Star Drug, Techmobile and World Balance & Sports Basic.
Restaurants feature on every level including Dunkin Donuts, Inasal Chicken Bacolod, Kenny Rogers Roasters, McDonald’s, Mang Inasal, Pizza Republic, Red Ribbon, Shakey’s and Sunzibar. The 180-seat food gallery on level three includes EZ’s Diner, Kubolicious, Kuya Greg Bulalo House and Lolita Mate.
There is also a Tom’s World amusement center, and a gym featuring Technogym Italian equipment, and Movieworld with four cinemas offering more than 2000 seats.
Government services are also available, including a consular office.
